EQ 2024 Long-Term Care Webinar Recap
Sean, Peter and I had the pleasure of hosting a webinar for clients and guests on the topic of long-term care focusing on the financial, emotional, and physical consequences on individuals requiring caregiving services and their family members who often serve as unpaid caregivers.
We know it’s the Holiday season and this is a pretty heavy topic. But something struck me that our special guest, Tyler Schafer, mentioned during the program. He said he has collaborated with many financial advisors and their clients who have explored long-term care insurance options, only to decide to put-off the decision. Then, maybe a few months or a year later, he receives a call from the advisor who tells him the advisor’s clients would like to implement the solution. The first thing Tyler asks: “What happened?” Because it’s not uncommon that a long-term care event or a precursor to one has occurred and rekindled their interest. Unfortunately, in some cases, due to the delay and preceding events, the solution may no longer be available or as affordable as it once was. We’ve attached the recording of the webinar if you’d like to learn more about this subject.
Thank you for your consideration.
Wishing you all the best,
